FUNDRAISERS
The Greater Keene Rotaract Club holds one major annual fundraiser and often times, individual committees will plan additional fundraisers to supplement their budgets. Below are our recurring fundraisers. Like our page on Facebook to stay up-to-date with new fundraisers as we develop them or stay informed regarding dates for our recurring fundraisers!
SPLASH DASH 5K
Our club has held numerous annual fundraisers in the past and after a few years on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we considered what our community loves and how we can encourage participation from people of all ages. After brainstorming, Rotaract landed on hosting a 5K fundraiser which is how our Splash Dash 5K was born!
Proceeds raised during this event will support the efforts of the Greater Keene Rotaract Club throughout the year and therefore aid projects like Operation Elves in addition to smaller efforts like our collaborations with Hundred Nights, Inc. or the Community Kitchen. If interested in sponsoring the 3rd Annual Splash Dash in August 2024, please email us at [email protected] to connect with our treasurer. |
UGLY SWEATER PARTY
For Operation Elves hosts an Ugly Sweater Party at 21 Bar + Grill. We invite community members to don their ugliest sweater and join us for an evening in support of local children in need. In partnership with 21 Bar + Grill, guests can purchase the Philanthropist cocktail which benefits Operation Elves. The GKRC also hosts a raffle during this event featuring prizes from local businesses to raise funds for our project.
If you would like to donate to our Sponsor a Stocking program in support of our participating children, please consider making a $25 donation here. |
TEAM DEMAR
The GKRC also participates in Team DeMar, a project of the Keene Elm City Rotary, annually. Our club has a team of runners, the ROADaract Rebels, who pledge to run the Clarence DeMar Half Marathon and raise money for one of Keene Elm City Rotary's four mainstay projects while training.
Consider supporting our President-Elect, Alyssa, as she raises funds for Team Childhood Hunger in the 2023 DeMar Half Marathon! Read her story here. |
